For You Only

2017 Just started.
But time is simply a human construct to aid us in coping with entropy and impending death. In between there is what we call Life. Either way you should use time well because in every moment a choice exists. We can cling to the past or embrace the inevitability of change; and allow a brighter future to unravel before us. That’s what has been hoarding up my mind as the year 2016 drew closer. Throughout the year there have been twists and turns. Friends turned foes. Made new friends.  More enemies. All in all it was an epic year. You can’t forget it.

Sometimes the best and worst times of your life can coincide. The beautiful people of our past still haunt us and yet we can’t decide if the pain they caused us outweighs the tender moments they touched our souls. This is the irony of Love. I have come to realize that we carry a lot more love than we can fathom. We try to be good. Better with each day. An update. From M16 to M17.

In doing so we commit the biggest mistake of our lives. Lying to ourselves. Sometimes we hide our pain and sadness inside. So that we can give happiness to others. But how do you give something you don’t have? In essence this makes us live for others which is a noble virtue but it begs the question: You save everyone, but who saves you?

Everyone has gone through something that has changed them in a way that they could never go back to the person they were before. No matter what level you are at in life there’s still a struggle.  Thus you don’t have to put an act for someone else. So smile. Be kind. Be yourself. Do not let how you live be influenced by someone’s opinion. In any way you only live once. YOLO it is.

Wanna always be happy?  Don’t expect anything from anyone. Expectations always hurt. Life is short, so live your life. Be happy and keep smiling. Just live for yourself and before you speak, listen. Before you write, think. Before you spend, earn. Before you pray, forgive. Before you hurt, feel. Before you hate, love. Before you quit, try. Before you die, live.
